CSET Time Management Tips From Test Coaching Experts
When it comes to finding the kind of tips and tricks that will have you confidently acing your CSET, who should you turn to for advice? Should you search through endless amounts of CSET test forums for clues, buy loads of study guides at your local bookstore (if you can find them), or should you just cross your fingers and pray that you know what’s going to be on that writing exam or CSET Mathematics test?
The answer: none of the above!
That’s right – if you want to ensure that you pass your CSET on the first go and get that much closer to a $47,000 yearly teacher’s salary in California, then you need to study up on the tips and techniques that CSET coaching experts recommend. Not only are CSET test coaches certified teachers with a track record of many successful clients – they’ve been where you’re sitting right now!
Are you ready to ditch those out-of-date study guides?
I hate spam as much as you! I will never rent, sell or otherwise share your information with anyone! And you can take your name off my list any time wish. No hard feelings whatsoever.
Then it’s time to read up on the CSET time management tips from coaching experts whose careers are made from turning test takers into successful teachers!
CSET Test Time Management Tip #1:
Essays make up a huge portion of every CSET subject test – even the CSET Math test! While preparing for your CSET before exam day will ensure that you know most of the essay topics, you might encounter an essay where you just don’t know the answer. However, don’t just skip over it and watch as it drags down your score. Instead, write down as much as you know about the topic. Markers will give you a certain portion of points for demonstrating your knowledge, which is certainly better than nothing!
CSET Test Time Management Tip #2:
When taking the CSET test, work out how much time you’re going to get for each question. For those test takers taking CSET: Multiple Subjects, this works out to an average of one minute per question. If there’s a particularly difficult question that’s eating up your time, move on to the next question. Don’t return to it unless you have enough time at the end of the test. This is done so that you don’t waste precious time on a difficult question – and miss out on easier questions that would rack up points!
CSET Test Time Management Tip #3:
CSET test coaches know that emotions can interfere with test scores just as much as your testing knowledge. Therefore, don’t let anxiety and nervousness prevent you from passing your CSET. Control your anxiety with breathing techniques and visualization by imagining yourself passing that test. You’ll spend less time being nervous and more time acing those questions!
As a future certified California teacher, you can’t afford to miss out on a $47,000 yearly salary due to a few simple test mistakes.
