English Test: This California teacher credential exam can be broken down into four subtests. In the first, you can expect to cover literature and textual analysis (40 questions) and composition and rhetoric (10 questions). The next CSET exam subsection evaluate your knowledge on language, linguistics, and literacy (50 questions).
